Family & Matrimonial

We are a dedicated team with a depth of experience in family law. We pride ourselves on being highly approachable and sensitive to your situation.

We understand the uncertainty and distress family breakdown causes. We adopt a constructive approach when helping you to make the best decisions for you and your family. Our aim is to provide you with professional expert advice to help in deciding the best way forward. To achieve this we offer an attentive and personal service to all our clients.

We understand that you will need advice and help with the procedures and various solutions available to resolve family issues. Our clients appreciate our friendly and committed approach. Initial questions such as "Will I have to go to court?" "Will my spouse stop me seeing our children?" "Is everything divided 50/50?" are frequently asked and can be discussed and explained within an initial consultation.

We can also help you when you are starting a new relationship. At the outset it is important to record your wishes and intentions as they can prove to be very important and influential in the event of a dispute arising.

The first step is to arrange a £125 +VAT  fixed fee initial half hour consultation to discuss your situation, the meeting can be arranged in either our Camberley or Wokingham office.

To find out more about how we can help you please call Maria Mulroe on 0118 977 4045.

Resolution - first for family law

Our Family & Matrimonial team is delighted to have been recognised in this year's edition of the UK Legal 500 as a leading advisor in the Thames Valley area.

Herrington Carmichael LLP is ‘faultless in every area’ and impresses with its ‘strong and united team’, which routinely acts for high-net-worth individuals. Dividing her time between Wokingham and Camberley, department head Maria Mulroe delivers ‘extreme professionalism, patience and frankness’ in financial cases relating to business and overseas assets. Solicitor Danielle Bentley (‘a good lawyer with great potential’) joined the practice from CH-R Family Solicitors. Recent work for the ‘dedicated lawyers’ include Children Act matters, cross-border divorces and financial remedy proceedings.
