Ben Millward

Ben is a Legal Director in the Dispute Resolution Department. He has over 15 years’ experience dealing with complex commercial disputes for clients across multiple sectors. He has expertise in areas such as high value and complex commercial debt recovery, contract disputes, compulsory liquidation and insolvency disputes, and director and shareholder disputes, representing his clients at all stages from pre-action through to trial and enforcement. He is also able to advise his clients in respect of alternative dispute resolution and assist them through the process. In addition, Ben has experience of sports related disputes, such as disciplinary and regulatory proceedings, and safeguarding investigations.

Ben is a Solicitor Advocate, meaning that he can provide advocacy in the High Court and above, and is therefore able to assist his clients through the entire lifecycle of a dispute. He takes a commercial approach to his advice, always considering the bigger picture. This is achieved by taking the time to understand his client’s business and overall objectives.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his young family. A keen sportsman, when time allows Ben plays golf and coaches his son’s under 9 football team. Having been born and raised in Surrey, naturally Ben is a Manchester United Fan.
