Training & Development Manager, Operations

Tom is the Training & Development Manager at Herrington Carmichael. He supports the Firm in achieving its strategic objectives by facilitating Learning & Development opportunities and guiding our Trainee Solicitor & Apprenticeship programs. Tom has a History Degree (BA Hons) and a CIPD Level 5 in People Management. Tom’s journey began in international Hospitality businesses, where he developed into Senior management and an exposure to HR & L&D that sparked a passion for working in a strategic people-focused role. He is keen to empower people to develop and progress their careers, whilst bringing value to the wider organisation as it strives to achieve its strategic objectives.

Tom is passionate about sport – playing football and rugby and can usually be found outside of work with his numerous (and loud) family members.
