Cennox advised by Herrington Carmichael in large investment

Herrington Carmichael advised Cennox Group on strategic investment by global investment management firm, York Capital Management.

Cennox, a leading worldwide provider of field, maintenance and transformation services, and hardware to the world’s leading banks, retail and commercial institutions, agreed a multimillion dollar investment with New York based, York Capital Management.

Herrington Carmichael’s corporate team, led by Yavan Brar (Managing Partner and Head of the Corporate & Commercial team), managed the transaction. Yavan was assisted on the corporate elements of the transaction by Senior Solicitor, Matthew Lea, with commercial partner, Mark Chapman and his team, acting on the commercial elements.

With Cennox Group’s large international presence, including multiple European and US subsidiaries, Herrington Carmichael assisted Cennox in managing the overseas legal elements to bring the transaction to a successful conclusion.

Additional Herrington Carmichael team members assisting on the deal included Chris Gemson (Corporate banking) and Emma Roper (Corporate), Alistair McArthur (Employment), Cesare McArdle and Alex Collinson (Commercial) and Michelle Lamberth (Corporate Governance).
