Herrington Carmichael’s corporate team advised Anglotech on a trio of acquisitions with an aggregate value of more than £7 million

Anglotech has been growing through a series of buy-and-build strategic purchases. It has most recently acquired Cos Systems Ltd (Cos Systems), BAC Office Equipment Limited (BAC), and another provider of managed print services, financed from a committed facility provided by Thincats. The acquisition of BAC is Anglotech’s 12th acquisition to date.

The Team

Founded in 1995, BAC prides itself on being a document workflow specialist based in Surrey, delivering a tailor-made service to businesses. They work with more than 3,000 customers across the UK and Europe, and pride themselves on their high standard of service across a wide range of solutions, including managed print services, document security and efficiency services, and cloud print and scan solutions.

Founded in 1994, Cos Systems is a dynamic supplier of managed print services and document management solutions in North London. This acquisition will strengthen Anglotech’s workforce and enhance its already great capabilities in southern England. With over 25 years of experience, the business offers a fully managed, end-to-end service, from logistics and installation through to on-site support, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This acquisition supports Anglotech’s long-term growth strategy as well as providing an exciting avenue in the rental market to their existing customers – offering IT and AV equipment for events, conferences, and exhibitions. The addition of the “COS Sales” and “COS Rent 4 Events” further strengthens Anglotech’s capabilities, infrastructure, and service offering.

The third company is a leading provider of managed print and document solutions services on Southern England, which specialises in supporting enterprise customers and SMEs across the UK. This company’s relationships with key industry manufacturers and software developers will help consolidate Anglotech’s already healthy relationships with key industry suppliers.

Ross Oakley, Managing Director of Anglotech, commented:
“The excellent work provided by Yavan, Stephen and the rest of the HC team continues to support our growth strategy through acquisitions. We are delighted to add these well-established business’ into the group and welcome all new colleagues and customers. Their vast experience and high-level service offering will strengthen our proposition in London and surrounding counties.”

Herrington Carmichael’s corporate and company secretarial teams provided integrated support on
all elements of the transactions, including negotiation of the transaction documents, financing of the
acquisition and post-completion work. Further assistance was provided by Herrington Carmichael’s
