Steph Collins

Steph is a Senior CILEX Lawyer in the Private Wealth and Inheritance Department.

Having begun her legal journey in 2017 as a legal assistant in a conveyancing firm, Steph then moved to another high street firm where she worked for the Director of the company assisting in different areas of Law, this is where she discovered her passion for Private Client. Steph then gained further experience in a top 50 firm in the contentious private client area before joining our Private Wealth and Inheritance team in 2023.

Whilst being in the team at Herrington Carmichael, Steph has qualified as a Cilex Lawyer and is now a Senior Cilex Lawyer in the team.

Steph used to be a carer at an Elderly Assisted Living Home and is passionate about working with elderly clients and supporting them through difficult times.  This is why Steph’s specialism is Attorneyships and Deputyships, helping those without capacity to manage their property and financial affairs.

Steph has completed the Lifetime Lawyers award, which is an amazing qualification that provides specialist training for dealing with vulnerable clients and how best to assist them.

When Steph is not working, she is a foodie who enjoys travelling and spending time with her partner, family and friends. To relax, although she says she is in no way creative, she likes to do a paint by numbers to calm her brain.
