Hannah Clouting

Hannah is a Solicitor within the Real Estate Team, having qualified from her training contract in September 2024. Hannah has been with the Firm since October 2018, first working as a Completions Assistant in the Residential Property Department and moving into the role of Plot Sales Supervisor where she had worked until September 2022. Hannah also achieved a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course and Masters while working full time at Herrington Carmichael.
Hannah has a lot of experience in land development transactions, from acquisition, planning agreements and through to plot sales and now focuses on property finance including development finance, bridging, mezzanine, refinancing and investment for all property.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys keeping fit and finding new shows to watch.

- Refinance of an iconic luxury hotel complex with unusual title arrangements and a bespoke security package with a value over £5m acting for the bank.
- Acting for lender on a £2m exit loan of a residential development site during ongoing sales of the completed plots.
- Acting for borrower in a £9m acquisition funding with additional security over the vast commercial portfolio.
- Acted on the acquisition of freehold property on behalf of a charity with extensive funding and security package with a value over £2m.
- Acted on the £5m purchase, conditional on planning permission for the construction of a self-storage building.
- Leading on a £1m sale of bare land with previous commercial uses with a 9 day turnaround from issue of contracts to completion.
